Eqvalan Gold is an effective deworming treatment that controls multiple internal worms in horses. This oral deworming paste is effective against tapeworms, roundworms (including large and tiny strongyles, hairworms, pinworms, ascarids, neck threadworms, threadworms, large-mouth stomachworms, lungworms, and summer sores), and bots. It is also helpful in preventing future worm infections.
Eqvalan Gold
The dewormer paste contains two active ingredients- Ivermectin and Praziquantel. Together, they cause muscle spasms, leading to paralysis in the worms, which kills them. They are safe to use on foals older than 6 months, pregnant and nursing mares.
Ivermectin: 15.5 mg/g
Praziquantel: 77.5 mg/g
Mares: Recommended dosing should be done at the intervals of every 6-8 weeks, during summer and autumn seasons.
Stallions: Treat twice a year.
Foals: Administer proper dose for strategic treatment at 6-8 week intervals.
Withholding period: Meat for human consumption- 14 days
