Credelio for 6.1 - 12.0 lbs (Pink) is a small, palatable chewable, formulated for dogs weighing between 6.1 and 12.0 lbs to protect against external parasites. Each chewable from the Credelio Pink pack provides protection against fleas and as many as four tick species including lone star ticks, American dog ticks, black-legged ticks and brown dog ticks for one month. This chewable flea and tick formula is suitable for puppies from 8 weeks of age.
Credelio Pink for dogs contains lotilaner, a member of the isoxazoline family. This active component blocks the transfer of chloride ions in parasites' cell membranes causing uncontrolled neuromuscular activity and resulting in the death of the parasites, killing more than 98% of ticks within 8 hours and continuing to kill 100% of fleas for a whole month.
